 Space: The 2-dimensional arrangement of objects in a photographed 3-dimensional illusion of depth in the image

Value: refers to the lightness or darkness of a hue/color (grey tones in a photograph)

.         Texture: is the real or implied feel, appearance or consistency of a surface or a substance. The tactile quality of the surface of a work of art.


Color: The reflected light. Three different types, hue is the name of the color. Saturation is the intensity of a color. Value refers to the darkness of color.

               Shape: An area enclosed by an outline. Flat and 2-dimensional.      

Form: Similar to shape, but has volume and is dimensional. 

Line: A point moving in space.
